Blind spot assist add-on?
Long story short: Loaned a friend my car while her car was in the shop, now she wants to buy a '15 C300! Does anyone know if blind spot assist can be added via a mirror upgrade or by a dealer at all? This option seems hard to find on many used cars she has looked at.

There are aftermarket upgrades your friend could consider but you'd have to do a little research to know which one you want and then be brave enough to drill in your bumpers and install the sensors.

Thanks for the replies. I'll recommend that she keep searching for a used model with the blind spot option included.
BTW: The W205 has some awesome improvements over the 204 model.

Try www.listingallcars.com
Follow the prompts. At the bottom you can put in the keyword "blind". If you get none near your zip code, press nationwide in the center. I found a bunch, including "certified".

Hi everyone, resurfacing the topic here. I have a GLC 350e Coupe with a lot of the extras one would find in the Distronic Plus (lane assist, blind spot, etc), only thing I believe is missing would be the front radar. Does anyone know if I could retrofit the radar and the software to have the Distronic Plus including the adaptative cruise control? I have tried in a friends car (older model) and the "self-driving" mode is amazing on the highways. Cheers and thanks in advance for any help you guys can give.
