Need help finding key inside car
Okay this is a bit ridiculous. This morning I had the car wash guy over and when he is cleaning the car, I leave the key in the cup holder so he can move it around while he is doing the other cars. Normally when he is done I meet him, get the keys and pay. Today however my wife drove off with the car, with my spare key still inside.
When she got home she doesn't know where my key is and I cannot find it in the car. However the key is in the car because I can start it without another key.
I searched under the seats, the sides of the seats, the cupholder, the armrest, the floors, the door pockets, the area at the back of the cupholder, the trunk, and even the HUD, and I simply cannot find it.
So where should I look? Where could a key get lost inside a W205 sedan?

I dunno man, that is tough. I can't imagine why he/she would put them in such a hidden spot. Seatback pockets maybe? In the center console/armrest towards the front of the car where there is that little shelf?
No joke, my buddies GF did this with her Mazda 6 a couple months back. We looked EVERYWHERE in the car but couldn't find them. Yet since the car started, we knew they were somewhere. Ended up being in the cowl under the windshield wiper arm.
Women, AM I RIGHT!?

Thanks everyone for the suggestions. I checked all of those and still couldn't find it.
Then I looked under the floor mats and found it under the passenger floor mat. The mat was pinned down using the locking mechanism so obviously the car wash people are at fault!
That was a huge relief!
