applemusic vs spotify vs tidal
Hi guys
Is there difference about sound quality between apple music, spotify and pandora? I use iphone 7 with usb cable to listen music.
Apple music is streamed at 256Kbps in AAC.
Spotify premium is streamed at 320 kbps at Ogg Vorbis.
Last, Tidal offers Flac 1411 kbps - Lossless (16/44.1 kh).
Is there a difference? I have audio20 with standard speakers. Im using apple music because i can skip the tracks fast... search a music by name... artist, but if Tidal sound quality is better im thinking to change.
What do you think??
Thanks!

On an Audio 20 you'll be happier with the lower bitrate stuff. My preference is Apple Music and the 256kb AAC. Tidal offers a free trial so you can play around with it and see if you like it, but it is going to sound excessively bright and harsh. (Or just play a CD. Same quality as Tidal's lossless stream)
I prefer Apple also for the ability to add EQ to the stream.

1- Any suggestions to audio20 sound setup? Bass, trebble and mid? Remember i have basic soundsystem, not Burmester (4 mids plus 1 subwoofer).
2- What ur suggestion to eq settings for apple music? I prefer eletronic.
thanks a lot

Sure. I have a massively upgraded Burmester now, but I had an A20 in a loaner for a few weeks. Set Treble to +10, Mid -10, Bass +10.
On the Apple EQ, try Rock. It reinforces the HU settings. If that sounds too bright, try Bass Booster. Do you have any local files on your iPhone that you own (not rented via Apple Music)?
