ATTN: My fellow greedy Americans.

I see some of you guys complaining
oh not paying $55K for ****ing 4cyl.
You guys are really lucky that cars in
America is dirt cheap compared to other countries
in the world.

For example in South Korea.
Where cars are considered not expensive compared to other countries.
Heck you can't even ****ing by a C-Class for 55k
the lowest trim C-Class which is C180 or C200 starts at $60K.

I'm not joking when I went to Mercedes-Benz to see what cars
I could get for $50K...
Only cars I was able to get was A-class, B-Class, CLA200D (horrible engine) and the stripped out GLA 220d.

I heard in Australlia, China and some euro countries the prices are way higher than in Korea.

So yes... cars here whatever the car it is
is not overpriced.
But one thing overpriced in America is service fees....

Yeah, well, some other countries get free universal healthcare, among other things. We don't. So, you can't really compare out of context of every thing else. If lunch in India costs less than 1 dollar while it generally costs $10-20 in the U.S, does it mean we can tell them to shut up and stop complaining about life?

I just meant only in the context of cars.
If you include things like health care.
It becomes something completely different.

Exactly my point. You can't just take car and use as context to compare prices. Like my example, if a meal in another country costs only $1, it's not necessarily cheap for the people over there.

Just like some people would say gas is cheap in the U.S compared to say, Europe. But in Europe, you have a good public transportation system and most people don't have to drive 50 miles each way for work.

Amen. And stay the (bleep) off the shores of the best country in the history of the planet.

In the real world, by 1976 the USA had done more in 200 years of existence some countries have done in 1,000 or more years of existence.

And at the 240 year mark we've widened the gap even more. So again STFO our free market capitalist shores.

And if I could briefly add some important distinctions to ......some other countries get free universal healthcare:

The kind of Government-run garbage (see Obamacare) that takes away then limits doctor choices, forces people to be on govt. dole, drives up the cost for middle and higher income citizens for the benefit of the poor (who already happen to be covered by what we Americans call a decades old "safety net"), and offers a downgrade in service. Makes death an poor-quality life even closer......brilliant!

Don't believe me? Go ask Liam Neeson about how it was so easy to get immediate care for his wife.........err, late wife, in Canada. All of his money could not get past the free & universal - and disfunctional - system. Or, how about all the Canadians that go the U.S. to the Cleveland clinic instead of waiting in line to eventually die in some govt. health care facility. What, don't wanna die the patriotic death in your homeland?

But we need not worry anymore. PRESIDENT Trump will wipe out the idiotic, non-bipartisan Obamacare crap, and replace with a market based solution. Like the God-knows-how-many how many auto insurance companies - big and small from Allstate to Direct and.....Amica? (who's Amica?), we'll let health care providers compete against each other across State lines with lower prices and better service to get our money for - only if we want it - health care.

Do that ring a bell? Competition without idiotically high UK, Aussie, or Canadian taxes making car prices lower in the U.S.???

F-ing American liberal/pre-Civil War slavery loving Democrats - and Europeans - always telling people how to live their lives....all because we freedom-loving Americans are soooooooooo stupid and can't make the right choices for ourselves and our families. That's why Hillary just got her Female Chauvinist Pig head kicked in.

Make America great again, b____es!!!

**For the record...I want to see BOTH parties burn...**

And here in lies the problem with the Republican "block payment" healthcare solution...who pays for the hospital bills of the uninsured (the "only if I want it" crowd, or the ones who can't afford health insurance)? I'll tell you who, the taxpayers and ultimately the insured residents of that State...that's who.

Some sort of health insurance or proof you can pay for your own healthcare should be MANDATORY for everyone because EVERYONE eventually gets sick & dies, and EVERYONE should either pay for their own healthcare if they don't want insurance, or for the people who can't afford that...a percentage of their income should go towards a health insurance plan. The government should only get involved for the people who can't afford either scenario.

If someone can afford to own a car, cell phone, an apartment or home, or kids...they can afford to pay at least a small percentage towards their healthcare.

Nothing against the rich, but there's MANY more poor in the world...and history has proven that unless the balance is corrected somewhat, revolution then ensues.

Hey guys I wrote this to tell you fellow Americans
that we are lucky in context of cars only and we should be thankfull that we can get some greatest cars in the world for a affordable price compared to the rest of the world. I didn't want this thread to be any kind of political thread. Tbh I have no interest.

Yikes this thread has taken some wild turns. As someone who's traveled in Europe believe me they aren't as miserable as some would have you believe. A lot of people in those countries are living perfectly fine, happy lives. Before traveling abroad I too thought America was the only good country and everyone else was living in squalor but that's far from the truth.

This ain't the travel channel. Hell, I've been to two county fairs, a goat roping, Antarctica, all of South and North America, the Falklands, Europe, French Polynesia....

No one stated or implied your proposition.
