Why is the info all over wrong on the size of the wipers on a 2016 c300? Everywhere is mentioned 24" when in fact they are 22".
Also how do you remove them?...I watched video and this guy is doing it with 1 hand. No matter how I tried to follow it they did not release...and I am a fairly handy person, that does most of the work on all my cars.
Depending on the VIN, there are two wiper arm variations that I know of with the W205. The W204 used a different arm, and that is what is still being listed for the W205 on every site I checked. There are no correct aftermarket blades for the later style arm. Replacements have to be ordered by the MB part number, or you will probably get the wrong part.
The later style, which I think you have, is simple. You tilt the bottom of the blade away from the arm, then slide it forward. There are no buttons to press. Easiest way to put the arms in the service position is to just let the wiper blades go up, then shut off the ignition to lock them there.
They are definitely 22". There are after market manufacturers that are starting to bring product to market. You also need to watch out for left-hand and right-hand drive versions. They have different position lugs inside the arm mount. You can see the two variants in the image below.
I've been working with Wipertech in Australia to get their RHD version tested. They had some LHD variants from their supplier, so you could try and contact them to see if those are available for sale.
