I've been hunting around for the 'mystical' AUX input for a while as well. Never found it, although the manual makes mention of it.



Not sure what this part is, but it seems different to the multimedia panel which takes the USB and SD

Yeah, stereo audio requires two signal pairs (Left +, Left -, Right +, Right -). There are 4 wires in a USB: power, ground, and two data wires. Those are just enough but they have to be repurposed by the device controlling the USB port. A PC can do that, but plugging that adapter into COMAND would just confuse it. I think those little BT transmitters are the way to solve the issue of a lack of an aux-in.
