Creaking from door seals. Dealer replaced all door seals. It went away for 2-3 weeks. It's back now

As I was picking up my car there was a couple with a salesman looking at a c300, I made sure they knew what they were getting into. What you gonna do next? Stand in front of the dealership with a sign? C'mon.. So you lost the sales rep a sale...
I understand your frustration but go to the source. I would just call MB directly or bring it to another MB dealership for a second opinion... Dropping a car an inch shouldn't make a difference for rattles, they should just do the work as they get paid under the warranty... Change dealership for servicing and don't give them your business... The store I deal with are way more professional than that and they look for issues, not excuses...
I'm reading all of this and don't have any of these issues, although I am thinking of going in for the slight road/wind noise issue which is apparently a double pane window swap...

Been using this for a while and its very good...
Be sure to use on the body side and the door side where applicable.
I also did the rear hatch S205, and the under hood seals...

Silicone spray or ezy glide type products deffo doesn't work as well as this...

I believe I'm experiencing the same rattle you have. Mind advising what thickness of felt you used? I'm going to order some of this right away...

I had the same rattle a couple months ago and used 1/2" felt tape (50mil -- well, 46mil plus a 4 mil liner) to cover the plastic as shown in the pic except that I did all 4 sides, not just 2 sides as shown. It's been quiet ever since.

Excellent. I'll have some 1/2" felt tape arriving tomorrow (THANKS, AMAZON!) and will apply in a similar manner.

Once this thing is silent, my interior will be rock solid and eerily silent.

Nope, have it on my 17' C43. Mainly coming from the passenger side door/or possibly the glove box. Just haven't taken it to dealer yet. Purchased in Feb. Will try the felt tape method above this weekend

hahaha!

Mercedes has to first admit that various parts rattle and squeak. Only a few things are in the system as acknowledgements. The rest are treated as one offs. Hence why they lube the sh*t out of everything. The issue I currently have is the door seals squeak. Its been back twice and the 2nd time it went away. But, 3 weeks on its starting to come back. If lubing worked for a few months I wouldn't mind lubing it every few months. But, alas, it only lasts a few weeks. I suspect a design defect in the door alignment. door moves excessively over road bumps.

I also suffer the famed 'burmester' speaker buzz. But, MB lubed the speaker clips on my last visit. Nothing else as it buzzed on my way out the MB parking lot. I just couldn't be bothered to go back in as I was running late for work. How the hell does lubing the speaker clips fix it? Anyway, I've taken foam tape and stuffed some under the trim(that meets the door panel) where the front door speaker is. That's reduced the buzz massively. I will add some more soon to try get rid of it. But, I'm upgrading the sound by adding a DSP and replacing the front door speakers. So, I will add dynamat to the door panels and foam tape the crap out of it as well.

For what it's worth, I found on my '15 that it wasn't the speaker that was rattling, but the seat controls...

Once the glovebox is fixed with the felt, I'll be 100% rattle free.

THAT BEING SAID...one visit to the dealer (with 1500 miles) they fixed the following:

-Overhead console rattle over rough highway at high speed
-Replaced the passenger side HVAC vent which was rattling over "crashing" bumps in the road

*Part* of the issue in replacing these rattles ourselves is corporate never even learns about the rattle--consistent warranty repairs for rattles are the best way to get corporate's attention, as it hits them where it hurts most: the bank account. The most frequent issues get the greatest attention when it comes time to revising designs/issuing service bulletins, etc.

yes, its the aluminium trim where the speaker grill and seat controls are. MB just lubed the panel clips. Some on here have used felt tape and foam tape to sort it out.

I'm now waiting for a factory engineer to going over my car. The dash, passenger and driver's side door all squeak horribly. The dealer taped some things to no avail. I've been complaining about it for nearly a year now.

For those that are suffering from the annoying door creaks and squeaks, it is coming from the rubber seal that makes contact with the metal frame of the car (I'm sure most of you already know this, but MB has not found or put in any effort to provide a fix for this simple issue).

Simply fed up with it, I bought some 3M velcro tape and applied it to the rubber seal on all 4 doors. I must say, at first I was skeptical, but after I applied it, went out for a test drive, it actually eliminated 80% - 90% of the creaks and squeaks coming from the doors. This made me more mad, because, it proofs that MB has not put in any effort or at least try to fix a super simple issue which has bothered the vast majority of the owners. Now my most annoying squeak and rattle are coming from the piano black center console trim. Everywhere you touch, it squeaks, I park my car on a flat surface it squeaks. I found a supplier I might just go ahead and replace it with the black ashwood trim to see if it eliminates the issue.
