Real car config. pic at vehicle settings?
Hi All,

I know it's a first word problem but I must ask.

At the vehicle settings menu can the display show the real configuration somehow, like the MercedesMe does it? This could be very fancy.

Tesla does it, and even worse, my wife's Q7 with Virtual Cockpit does it, right down to the wheels.

The Mercedes Me mobile app, which works with the VIN nr. also does it, so I think this is not complicated.

But to answer the OPs question, no, this is a standard graphic for the model, not spec specific. Mine shows the 'sport' graphic, not the AMG Line car I have.

It should if the MercedesMe app can show correctly...

Like we said it is only two clicks... (for the right developer)

I'm not sure where you get that idea about development, its hugely complex.

I got a the Mercedes Me app and added my car. It displays the same generic gray base model as I get on the Companion app, which is the same as the one displayed in the car itself in COMAND. The only image that appears to be custom to the car is the 360 camera display, which has the right color.

I guess in the US you can have a custom car image as long as your car is a Paladium Gray base model on 17" wheels.

mercedes me app on iOs shows me the right color and car but the wrong wheels. Not a big deal but it's the small things

It's nice to be able to remote start

Same here. Funny thing is that it previously showed the correct wheels then reverted back to the incorrect ones after an update.
