Weird fix for Spotify volume issue
I had an issue that the C Class volume controls would not change the volume of Spotify music when using my iPhone 4S or iPhone 6 via the lighting connector plugged into the cars USB port but my iPad Air was just fine. The reason for the lighting connector is that the quality is higher than using Bluetooth.
The fix was a simple one but it took me 2 months to figure out. Seems the issue was down to the fact that I had not downloaded any non-Spotify music onto the iphones from my PC using iTunes so my music library was empty.
As soon as I had a couple of songs in my library Spotify premium worked fine with its own downloaded music.
