Lowering a C180. Eibach? Vogtland? H&R?
Hi!
Been searching the web for tips on lowering my C180, but no luck yet...
Can you guys help me choose a nice set of springs?
What are you happy with?
I have the original Sport suspension with the AMG package which is lowered 15mm, but i think its too high

Bump!!
Im in the same boat, i might skip getting new wheels this summer and just drop and space out the stock wheels.
Im also on sports pack and so far on this forum ive read great reviews about the h&r springs
If any of you could chime in it would be greatly appreciated!

You're lack of replies is probably in direct relation to the fact that this is a very common piece of information on these cars that is easily accessible via the search function at the top of this page or even Google.
But H&R. H&R is what you want. I don't think anyone else even makes springs for the 205 yet. KW makes coilovers but if you have the adjustable sport suspension (if it's the same one as the 43/63), then simple lowering springs its he ideal route.

Also, in regards to waiting to get wheels: If you're on a lease, sooner the better IMO. Getting 3 seasons out of wheels is MUCH better than just 2.

Well, after alot of research and talking about this with my friends at work, I finally ordered Eibach springs for my wagon The company I work for has a deal with Hella here in Norway and they sell Eibach so I got them at a good discount! And a guy I work with actually have this installed on his S205, and his car look awesome Can't wait to my set shows up! I'm going to space out my 19" multispokes if it requires to do so

I've had both and the H&R's are better for everyday driving. They lack the performance of vogtland's and they don't look as good. The Vontlands will have a hard time getting over speed bumps, especially with passengers and will beat the **** out of you on a bumpy road. However, the Vontland's handle awesome at high speeds.
