Trade your 17" wheels for my 18"s?

I have a W211 (2008 E350) with sport package and the 18" rims. Would anyone be interested in trading the standard 17" wheels and tires that come on the C300 for these 18" wheels and tires?

The larger wheels are generally more desirable for appearance and better handling, but I like the very soft ride of the thicker side walls. These wheels are a direct swap (no spacers needed except for me). Tires on these wheels are almost brand new (less than 10k miles).

Tires and wheels are offset (for handling and traction):
18"x8.5" wide FRONT with 245/40/R18 Continential Tires
18'x9.5" wide REAR with 265/35/R18 Continential Tires (all tires match)

I'm located in Northern California (San Jose). Let me know if anyone is interested.

Front is 38mm and rear is 39mm.

Also, correction, the rear wheels are 9" wide, not 9.5".

Same request

Same car, same color, same wheels, same wish to swap. These staggered wheels look great and really perform well, but for a 350, at my age, I’m looking for best ride. Have you found any takers?

Surprisingly no. I ended up getting new 17" MB wheels and tires, and then selling these. Much happier with the setup now, but the looks aren't as good. That was expected though.

If I had to do it again, I might have kept the 18" wheels and tried a softer tire. Apparently these Continentals are known for sticking to the road well, but being harsh and noisy. I've heard that 235/45/R18 tires also fit and don't rub, so that could be a good option. Slightly thicker sidewall, thus a better ride.

Bummer. 18s look better to be sure, but that staggered size is a pain in the butt. Can’t rotate, cost are high for replacing tires more often. May I ask what the MB wheels cost? Did you go 8 inch width all the way round?

Oh, besides staggered issues, the finish on mine started flaking, causing the tires to lose seal so I had to air them up every day!

I'm interested in them for my 2006 E350. However I have 16 inch rims. I live in Florida and would be willing to trade. My tire sizes are the same for all four rims. I have been looking for these rims for a while. Please let me know.
