2015 C300 Warranty Issues
I’ve had my 2015 C300 for 3 months now. In those 3 months I’ve had it at the dealership 4 times and just scheduled the 5th visit. I’ve driven 2,000 miles on the vehicle and 500 of those miles are to and from the dealership.
The vehicle has had every service on time and has been properly maintained. I purchased with 44k miles. The previous owner had the front axle(Something like that) replaced under warranty.
Is anyone else having reliability issues?
Visit 1:
Check engine light, had to diagnose and order parts (5 Hours)
TOTAL: Free
Visit 2:
PCV Valve replaced (Warranty)
Key Fob Replaced (Warranty)
Brake Fluid Changed
Spark Plugs Changed
Both Cabin Air Filters Replaced
Engine Air Filter Replaced
TOTAL: $600
Visit 3:
Comand Touch Pad Replaced (Warranty)
Entire Comand Screen Replaced (Warranty)
Belt Replaced (Warranty)
Firewall Bushing Replaced (Warranty)
Total: FREE ($1,600 if out of warranty)
Visit 4:
Brakes pulsating, Rotors warped
After I called corporate to complain about the reliability of my vehicle they gave a total of 20% off replacing the rotors.
Visit 5:
Brake Rotors Replaced
Total: $860

I'm sure some people are having similar issues but this does seem a little excessive. The consumables (filters, fluids and brakes) are just something you have to deal with since they're just that, consumable items subject to wear and tear.
I had the same steering column noise issue. I got underneath it and gently applied some spray lithium grease to the hinge points and the screw mechanism that drives the column while I exercised it up and down and it's fine now.
