Bluetooth connection time

Hi all,

i was wondering if you could help clarify something for me...

My w205 fluctuates a lot in the time that it takes to connect my phone to the Bluetooth on start up. On some occasions it's an immediate connection, by the time I put the car in drive it's already connected, other times it can take upto a minute, which is slightly annoying when I'm on a call and waiting for it to transfer over into the car.

What experiences do you all have? Is it normal to fluctuate in connection times?

Thanks!

Mine always connects instantly. Meaning that it is connected by the time the car starts moving. In a matter of seconds.

Mine connects pretty quickly, but then it connects again, and again which means it is DISCONNECTING for some reason. It's pretty annoying if one has the companion app loaded, as that has to be RE authenticated each time. Something is up with the bluetooth module, I'm going to have it looked into or replaced when I take it in for the first service.

A gaggle of MB's
1st thing to try is this - erase old profile in your MB - turn system off - reboot system and do fresh pairing

By erasing the old profile, do you mean deleting my current phone from the Bluetooth list?

Thanks
