Losing my mind with wheel figment facts. Help.
Ok so long story short, I pick up my 2017 c300 4matic (base model) that comes with the grotesque looking 17s.
I kept my old rims/tires I had on my W204 stored in my basement for the past 3 years. I can't figure out if they will fit on my new car. (They didnt fit on my 2014 CLA 250 4M I leased and will be returning tomorrow morning)
The specs as follows:
Brand: USArim/Eurotech replica CL63's
F: 19x8.5 ET45 **Tires mounted: Goodyear Eagle F1 - 235/35/19
R: 19x9.5 ET45 **Tires mounted: Goodyear Eagle F1 - 265/30/19
I have no clue what the stock 17 offsets are or if they're staggered or square, or what the widths are (7? 7.5?)
Benzworld forum says the rears are too wide. But on here, people seem to say they'll fit no prob. But, those OPs asking have the Sport package that come staggered 18s. I have the base package that from what I gather....seem to be the only forum member dumb enough to buy. Lol
If these won't fit I'm going to ask the dealership to order/install/include the black OEM MB 19s (10 spokes) prior to me signing on the dotted line.
HEEEEEEEEEELP!!!

Never mind. I found another thread that says they'll fit.
Now I gotta buy a nice cheap diamond grill off eBay, a front lip spoiler, tint every window, and slap on some really dope fake AMG badges. Ya know, fool everyone into thinking I'm cool AF.
(Kidding on me AMG badges for the record)
Btw, I had to start a new account. I was heavy on the forum back in 2009 when I got my W204. Back when we had to replace our eyelid bulbs with LEDs every 2 weeks, (good to see AZN still on here!), and everyone with the Sport package spent all their money on trying to make it look like a C63. Looking back at those days is laugh out loud funny.
Jumped over to a CLA and still absolutely love its style. The pizza cutter 7.5 in wide wheels were a bummer though. So now I'm back to a C cuz it fits 2 car seats and my dealership gave me a deal I couldn't refuse.

Yeah the Eurospec came in an 18" staggered with a 45mm offset. Those would fit no problem. They also came in a 35mm which might be too much for the rears. If they fit your 204, which I believe had a 44mm OEM offset they should bolt right up.
I've always liked the Eurospec with those fat lips although the rivets are a little much for me. Post pics!

yeee post pics soon! Anything looks better than the base 17 rims we both have LOL!
My VMR's don't get in until 3 weeks from now so I'll live vicariously through you
I'm interested in seeing your diamond grill after installed. I saw those too on ebay but I want to see the finished look. Which front lip spoiler are you going? Carbon fiber or body colored? I'm looking at the rw carbon one now

Holy crap I bought the $700 RW front splitter awhile back. It's a beautiful piece. Then this past Sunday I smacked it into a fence post and dinged up a section. FML.

Test fit the rears. They fit good but kinda looks stupid. HUGE space from top of tire to the fender. I'm all set on lower it. It's just a 3 year rental car (lease). The rims look too poser-ish on a car that's blatantly a base model.

I don't think they look stupid at all. I know when I first mount wheels there's always a discrepancy between how I though they would look and how they actually look (and not in a good way). Usually after a few days they look good to me.
The suspension looks like it's stretched from being up on the jack. It should settle. But the rears look good to me.

I have to take all the dip off my other 3 wheels this weekend. Which, by the way is a HUGE pain in the ***, even with Dip Dissolver and a power washer...
I'll post pics when all 4 are on and see what's up.

Mike check out my lug bolt question I posted. Also, I noticed when I mounted the wheels yesterday the inside front wheel BARELY clears the top of the inner control arm (I think that's the part). We're talking 1/8th inch.
Today was the first time I drove it to work (15 miles each way). There isn't any grinding or rubbing, no weird feedback in the steering wheel, but it's kinda weirding me out. I'm afraid if I go over a hump/bump and the arm hits the tire I'm toast. Thoughts?
Also, I'm not sure if it's in my head from over researching the subject but I thought I felt some very faint feedback through the brake pedal when braking and the car slows to under 15mph. Bolts are torqued to 98lbs.

The space between the upper control arm and wheel top is static, because the upper arm and steering knuckle are moving up and down with the wheel. They should never have interference as long as a gap is there.
If your lug bolt seats are not fully set that can cause all kinds of vibrations.

Here's another angle.

I'm not sure what that thing is either. I'll look under mine. Yours is not 4Matic right?
Is that an 8.5" wheel and do you know the offset? Worst case you can always add a 5mm spacer and get a bit more clearance (but you'd want to add an extra 5mm to your lug bolt length as well).

Ah, some extra bits then. If you're not feeling rubbing I think you're ok. Worst case pick up a set of 5mm spacers and lugs from HR Trak and pick up more clearance.

Yeah I think I'm ok. Not rubbing even on full lock both ways. I just ordered new lug bolts for the wheels so hopefully I'm all set. If not I'll report back on any issues I encounter
