I noticed the other day that my COMAND screen doesn't display the time in the top left corner as is present in most other C Class i've been in. I couldn't find anything relevant searching the boards here, and I dug endlessly in the COMAND menus without any luck.
Anybody know why the time wouldn't display? Picture attached for reference. This is persistent in every display running.
I believe it has to do with your software version. I've noticed on MY16 models that the time is not present, however, it is there on MY17 models. Check with your dealer to see if you can update the version, perhaps that will do the trick.

Mine shows clock on COMAND (with analog clock). It started showing up after my dealer update the COMAND system.
How did you get the dealer to update your COMAND system? From what I've seen in this forum, dealers seem to refuse to update the system. Also can you tell me which MY they updated?

MY16. I usually tell them that it's been freezing up or acting weird and they say they'll check for updates.

Haha yes. 90% of the time they have no clue what's wrong and will just do an update. I had a speedometer (hardware) issue that they said they fixed with a software update. Of course it wasn't fixed and I'll be taking it back next week
Interesting. I have the analog clock in the dash. So it seems like I might have luck asking them to upgrade my command system? This is different from the maps version, I would assume?
I'm on maps v 6.1. Any way to view the Comand version you're on?
There's three spots that show time if you have the COMAND system (under vehicle settings, when you're in Favorites, and in the centre display). It would be nice if it would just show along the top banner permanently IMO.

Mine has stayed pinned to the top bar after the update.
I'm not sure. I own a car without Command system. I also dont have a clock in top left of screen. Also I dont have analog clock in dash. I have tried to find out how to get clock displayed in top left of screen but so far no luck. Does anybody know is there a way to update software if I dont have Command system? Or maybe somebody knows how to get clock in top left of display?
