2017 C250

Towbar Height

I'm planning to fit a euro style towbar to my C250 the same as in the link below. If anyone has a similar towbar fitted I need to know the height of the tow ball from the ground to ensure my trailer will be riding level.

Measure the height of the tongue of the trailer with it sitting level. I don't think anyone can tell you where the ball should be without knowing that measurement.

Problem is I can buy 2 types of towbar, one has a fixed height somewhere between 400--500mm from the ground this has a removable vertically mounted tow ball neck assembly, cannot be seen at all once the neck is removed & requires no bumper bar cutout.
The other type can be removed, the mount receptacle is always visible and requires a bumper bar cutout, however with this type of bar you can buy neck & toll ball assemblies of varying heights to ensure the trailer rides level.
I prefer the invisible (no bumper cut) type but it needs to be closer to the 500mm from the ground height so that my trailer tows level.
Unfortunately unless someone has this type of towbar and can measure the towball height I wont know until I spend $1000 and buy it hence my question.
