For me it was definitely worth the money.
Would this make the feature useless for stop & go traffic? In city traffic, you’re basically stopped for the duration of a traffic light before you hit the accelerator again.

I’m considering this feature for my build, but purely for handling stop & go city traffic.

It's very useful in stop & go traffic. The only thing you have to do when the traffic in front of you starts driving again is hit the accelerator or the stock on the steering column.

Adjust the rotary knob on the stalk. That's how you increase/decrease following distance.

No. You just tap the gas pedal and the car takes over again. I use it in heavy traffic daily.

Awesome in stop/go traffic. In addition to tapping pedal, try moving steering wheel back and forth a few times as an alternate to tapping on the gas

you can also pull the lever toward you to get the car moving again. Much easier.

If it was tracking the car in front, how would it work if there was no car to track (i.e., you are leading traffic)? I could be wrong....but.
In this case it would accelerate to the speed you had set it to.

I had mine set at 102kmh and was following a car. The car slowed down to 50kmh in a speed zone and my car followed suit.
However, the car in front suddenly pulled in to a filling station which left me with an open road. My car started to accelerate to 100kmh in a 50 zone! Quite unnerving really.

You must pay attention to your set speed. You told the car to cruise at 102 what do you expect it to do.

I realise that. I didn't expect the car in front to suddenly pull off the road.

That was the first and only time.

Nothing wrong with the system. The system speeds up, as well as slows down!!

Well in that case, you'd just drive into the rear-end of the guy in front of you.

When the car in front slows down, your car will also brake automatically to maintain the distance set into Distronic.

Also, it will speed up to the maximum speed you have set, when your lane is clear.

Maybe you are on speed?

You're a danger to your community.

Lots of asteroids around Uranus near the Kuiper Belt.

Not totality, but about 99.4% obscuration in my location. It was cool, but I hear that the full totality event was truly amazing.

Somewhere, high above Svalbard, Gunga's mother in law opened one eye lazily, farted, and went out into the dazzling sunlight....

Ya gotta love the c450/43, it is an amazing car.

How many months/years until distronic is standard? I mean seriously they can't expect to milk this feature forever especially with corollas getting it.
