C400 Brakes?
I'm coming up on 44k miles, and wouldn't mind doing some stopping improvement work (Brakes).
My last car was a modified GTI w/rotors from AdamsRotors, EBC Yellow Stuff pads, and stainless braided lines. That car stopped on a dime.
Has anyone done any work to their brakes?

I did the brake modifications on it myself and can tell you that the difference from the OEM to the modified setup I described was worth every penny (especially when it wasn't even that great of a price difference). I'm not looking to go 'OEM and be happy', I want to make the brakes work as well as possible.

Still thinking about doing this very soon.
EBC makes yellow stuff front brakes, not sure about rears. I think the rotors are good for now.
Anyone know if there are braided lines for the C400?

Reviving an old thread but for the C400 (or C300 with amg sport brakes). Will the C450/C43 rear brake rotor and pads directly bolt up?
Parts catalog shows the same rear brackets and calipers but a 320mm vs 300mm rotor diameter with a different pad to go with it.
Typically a larger rotor requires either a different caliper or bracket, hoping these have the extra 10mm of room to bolt up. Unless the hub/knuckle is different and thats where the spacing is coming from...
Should specify that i dont have the airmatic and cant find the non-airmatic knuckle to compare parts #'s on.
