Winter Tires

Do you guys use winter tires?

I went to the dealership today and while they do offer winter tires/wheels package, they only offer 18 inch. The 17-inch package would not fit C300 with sport package.

That is a weird statement.
I do not know exactly what the sport package differs from a normal one but i have 17" winter tires with airmatic and in the lowest setting that is not giving any issues.
What size are your standard tires?

i was surprised as well.
I was hoping to use my old 17-inch AMG wheels for winter use. Dimension are 17x7.5 and 17x8.5.

Tire sizes for the C300 Coupe are:
225/45/18
245/40/18

Why not just try one and see if there are any problems? It would be the front you could have trouble with, possibly due to the caliper.
You would also need the correct size of tyre for the 17s to keep the running radius correct.

I have:
Front : 225x50r17
Rear : 245x45r17
Both for winter and summer tires.
I don't know the width of the rims but i guess they are equal to yours.

I will have to buy new tires but like to preserve the old AMG wheels for winter.

I am not expert of wheels, does this have to do with offset?

Front: 17x7.5 ET37
Rear: 17x8.5 ET34
