Accidentally put 87 instead of 91
i just got my car a few months ago and it's done about 2,300 miles. I refueled after work and I guess I was so tired that I wasn't paying attention. I have always put 91 but today, I accidentally put 87 instead. Would this do any damage to the engine? How would this affect my car? Thanks!

Definitely not. The engine is smart enough to adjust based on octane level.
If you are worried about it, put gas every 2 days to dilute it.

We just ordered a GLC and asked the sales adviser (also my friend) about the octane. He said the dealer only fills all of their vehicles with 87 octane and they never have an issue.
So, one fill up with regular won't matter. Just top it off when you get down to a half tank.
We will run premium in ours though.
