14,999 track limit on USB drive AND memory full, unable to store data in full
SubscribeIssue 1: Hi, I just got my MB last week. Installed a 500gb HDD via USB last night with 33k songs (~230gb) and as it was importing them, it stopped at 14,999.
Wondering if there is a way around this? Is this a partition issue or a USB issue? If I purchase an SD card, will it take all the songs?
Does anyone have any experience with this?
Issue 2: Since I first connected my phone, an error message pops up: "Memory full. Data could not be imported in full from the phone."
Anyone have any experience with this? Would an SD card serve as supplemental memory to save my phone contacts? Or would my USB HDD?
Thanks in advance.

33k songs? Not sure I have heard 33k different songs in my lifetime.
Don't have a solution for you but I hope you find a fix for this horrible problem.

I think this or something like it has come up before though I'm not sure where. It might have to do with the structure of the files on the drive. IIRC, the base should be Music or MUSIC.

Try using a flash drive instead of the hdd. if you need to add more songs after COMAND has read the flash drive, change the name of the flash drive. See if that works and let us know...Originally Posted by Benzodiazepine
