Info on CarPlay for Canadian 2018 c-class
I got the following response from MB CS about CarPlay:
"Please note the Premium Package includes COMAND Online Navigation w/MB Apps. Vehicles equipped with COMAND Online are eligible for the Apple CarPlay retrofit, and this must be completed by the Parts Department at your local Mercedes-Benz Dealership.
Apple CarPlay is scheduled to be available as a factory installation on the Model Year 2019 C-Class."
Does anyone have information about Apple CarPlay retrofit?

if they dont make this a retrofit for all w205 c class its a slap in the face. the hardware in the non command system is unchanged. its compatable.

Made a quick call to my MB dealer. The carplay is indeed available now but only to some models. Unfortunately, our C class is not included in the list yet. As to cost, part is C$165 + labour + tax. If we make more noise, maybe we'll get the retrofit before we get rid of our C's.
