Aux battery and stop start
I took my car in to the dealers after receiving the aux battery malfunction error. My car was just out of warranty by about 3 months so ended up paying £260 to have it fixed. When i went to collect the car today and to hand over my hard earned money, i was told by the after sales guy that a new aux battery was installed. The sales invoice shows that a voltage convertor was fitted part no ma2059053414 and a capacitator for the park pawl was replaced no mention of a aux battery. Having driven the car home the eco stop start is not working as it stopped working when the error message popped up. I would of thought the replacement parts would of sorted out this issue. Any ideas?
For 1/5th of the bill you just received, most of this may have been avoidable.
Especially if you use the vehicle In cold climate, have accessories (eg dash cams on smart power management) and for mostly short journeys.
Hope the dealer sorts it out for you.
