2015 W205, Good idea??
Hi everyone!
Looking at trading in my '10 E350 for a newer C class. Was wanting a '16 or newer because of some reviews online regarding the '15's reliability, but is it really bad? any high mileage '15 owners out there? Some people on edmunds reviews and other places seem to have horror stories regarding electronic issues and other problems. Would love to hear from you all.
Thanks in advance!

I have a 2015 C400 4matic that i bought end of this past april and have put about 13k miles within the past 5 months and I've had only a few small issues so far. One, the aux battery malfunction came up, which was taken care of under the warranty. Two, the transmission was really jerky when it was downshifting on its own from 3rd to 2nd, which was also taken care of under warranty, which involved a flash to the ecu. It's still somewhat jerky but it got a lot better. Three, one of the door handle led went out, which was taken care of under warranty as well.
Four, this probably only happened to me but the both headlight beam was pointing to the right a little too much so I took it to the dealer and paid the service fee for it to get it aligned but those stupid people didn't do a thing, didn't give me my money back saying they "adjusted" something, which they clearly didn't, and even lied to me saying there is no such thing as horizontal headlight beam adjustment, which I just figured out how to do myself today, which is on another thread.
Good luck on your search!

I agree. I'm sure you can get a good price on a C400 (probably not much more than a C300). After having driven C300s as loaner cars, I really appreciated the feel of the additional power. It's like a completely different car. Also, if you go with a C400, try to get the AirMatic suspension. It greatly improves the ride.
