2018 gla250 better than 2017 c300

So i took my 2017 c300 for some warranty fixes, the roof liner was rattling against the roof, and i was given a courtesy vehicle the gla250. I couldnt believe that the gla was actually better than my car in some key areas, but also worse in others. Here's my pro and con list

Gla250 better than c300:
- Faster
- Better engine noise / exhuast
- Transmission shifts incredibly smoothly
- android auto? but i didnt have a cable to use try it out for the 1 day i had it.
- seats more comfortable
- sunroof open at highway speeds is less noisy
- better sound system with way more bass

Gla250 worse than c300:
- Smaller screen on dash (i dont know what packages this car had)
- Rearview camera takes a second longer to load
- Can't lean left arm on window ledge comfortably because of the idiotic physical door lock stick thing sticking out
- No side by side cupholder / difficult to put phone anywhere. If i put it in the cupholder, it would fall out on hard acceleration or breaking
- Interior in my opinion doesnt look as nice but this is subjective.

Given the gla is a several thousand dollars cheaper, I'm surprised it turned out to be so good.

c class
I had a gla loaner too and the downgrade feeling was immediate, cheap material used was hard to ignore so was the outdated design .

I does drive way better then the C300 for sure but that interior ruins it I’m surprised you liked it better.

Car and driver says gla is 5.8. https://www.caranddriver.com/mercedes-benz/gla-class

c400
I just got a gla250 for a loaner when i dropped off my c400. First thing i noticed is that as a lot of you already mentioned, the interior quality is a step behind than a c class but that engine response though is something else. I was surprised when i first floored it. It's a 2wd and it was chirping tires and i didn't know it was capable of doing so LOL that dual clutch transmission is also sweet. the response time is great.
