Forgot to apply brakes when I shifted to "P"
So I was parking inside my garage my speed was "0" but accidentally let off the brake first before engaging "P".
And when I engaged it in "P" the car moved? or jumped? a little... kinda worried if there are any damages to the transmission.
The car seems to be "Ok" though it still goes into Park and all should I get it checked out?

Are you guys really putting the car in P every time?. In the 2 years I have it I might have done it once or twice.
Most of the time I leave the car in D or R, keep my foot on the break and switch off the ignition. It then automatically switches to N. When I open the door it moves into P and the parking brake applies automatically.
I never known any better.

I put put it in park each time. Our other cars don’t have the auto park feature so it would be a bad habit for me.
