Hi everyone...long time lurker, first time poster in need of guidance. I got rear ended last night and need some Idea about what to expect as far as cost or even how bad the damage really is so I can decide on how to proceed. The other party does have auto insurance and it is his fault. Anything else I should be aware of? Questions to ask the adjuster when they evaluate the car? Your help is appreciated! Thanks!
I'm glad you're OK - and please understand - since you believe you are covered by the other person's insurance - that is a VERY GOOD THING .
Now - understand when your C250 does go in for repair - you will need alternate transportation - so start finding out now what their insurance company - and/or your insurance company - will cover for car rental.
Your BEST bet - is to use the link below to locate the closest Mercedes Certified Collision Center (and frankly they are approved by all major insurance companies) - and take your C250 if convenient to them for repair quote - and best if you have the name of the insurance company that will be processing the claim.
If there is not a Certified Collision Center near you - then call your closest MB dealer and ask the service dept there who they recommend.
