Battery Issues at every start up

So I have a subwoofer in the trunk that was installed by a reputable dealer. Every time I start the car, it's weak and it flashes keep engine on. Last night it didn't start up and SRS malfunction came up. Pressed the start button a few times and it started up. I read somewhere to check the clamps on the battery. I looked last night (it was dark) and I couldn't really figure out where the clamps were.... Any ideas what is going on? I have a 2016 C300. Do you think the sub is drawing too much power?

If the issue started right after the subwoofer was installed, I'd be getting back to that "reputable" dealer for resolution.

The cars electric system almost runs completely off the battery so bass and midbass notes can throw ECU into low voltage and when it try’s to recover it spikes the modules and could burn 1 or 2 up $$$$. You should look into an AGM battery to replace your OEM. I have close to 2500 watts in inefficient Class A and AB amps with twin 15†IB suds, 8†midbass in the firewall 6†midrange in the kicks and haven’t had a problem. All of this was looked at before we put this type of system in the car.

Lithium technology sure looks promising for the car audio as well.

Should also check for corrosion on the terminals and the battery connectors. Have seen a few posts with electrical issues this solved, sometimes after the person had spent a good chunk of money.

wow, thats a serious battery. I am going back to the shop who installed my sub to have him check it out.
