Start Stop/ park tronic inoperative
Both features have suddenly stopped. The park tronic reverses in fine but won't finish the park when moving forward. It starts to judder and then switches off. Stop start doesn't seem to want to work.
Anyone else encounter this problem? What was the issue and was it a simple fix?
I have been back to the dealers 4 times and have been told a number things that its been fixed, replaced, updated etc on each visit. Fourth time dealers tech said out right the bumpers are heavily damaged and not covered by warranty!! lol Then I was told the sensors are damaged and faulty and because of that the stop start and park tronic aren't working. Had it checked out by an independent Mercedes Specialist and all of the sensors are working just fine. He said he re calibrated the sensors.
Is it an expensive fix that the dealers are trying to get me to fork out for?
