I'm looking to purchase some winter tires before the snow hits. I have 4matic on the stock 18s.
Checked my tires and they are 225 45 18 in the front and 245 40 18 in the rear.
Is this the recommended size or can I go same size all around?
Saw a good deal on 225 45 18 / 245 45 18. Will that fit and work well?

Same size all around is what is usually done. I have 225/45/18's front and rear.

I wouldnt recommend it. The difference is less than 3%, at 2.73% but i wouldnt do it. I woud definitely do the same stock sizes or even 225 45 18 all the way around for winter but i wouldnt do 245 45 18 in the rear.

No issues at all. The 4matic system on the 205 is made in a way that small differences in tire size doesn´t matter. The AMG package comes with that setup as stock.
