Hey all. I'm thinking of buying this car and trying to get as much info as I can on it. 2012 C250 4matic. Vin# WDDGF8FB9CA597478 (Canada)
Whats the deal with these grills with no MB logo in the middle and the stand up logo on the hood. I don't mind it but always wondered when I saw these grills and hood ornaments as to why,(saw one on a C300) upgrade, downgrade, aftermarket? Is the grill hard to replace?
Whats with the fog light? I kind of like the LED strip better. Ive never seen these before.
Cant figure out if its a sport package or luxury. I'm guessing luxury because of the wood trim but very new to MB so any help appreciated.
Are the rims the basic or is that an upgrade. Ive seen like a wide 5 spoke which I assume are the basic, then these multi spoke which I assume are mid and then the split 5 spoke which I assume are the highest upgrade.
Wish that license plate holder wasn't on the front.

That is the luxury package or sometimes called Avant Garde model. The W205 doesn't have it anymore whereas the W213 can still be optioned for it. The W222 comes standard with this style grill; but if you want it with the big mercedes star in the middle you need to buy a coupe.
My 2015 is a luxury model with avant guard styling, but had the "Luxury emblem delete" option. I'm not sure what I gained or lost through that, but it has the regular grill with big star and flat hood emblem.
Also, I'm completely unfamiliar with a 2012 as the W205 (this forum) are 2015+ model years. You'll probably get more answers in the correct forum for your C300.
