Console Light - Upgrade to LED

I find the overhead console light to be very dim and would like to change it to LED 6000k.

Does anyone has any instructions on how to replace the stock light and also the bulb specification?

Thanks

THE lights in the console with the various sos and pano roof switches? They’re led on mine and super bright.

Thanks. I find the installed lights (LED or not) quite dark. I usually use a torch to find stuff which I dropped in the cabin. Perhaps it is also the colour temperature, yellowish light provides a cozy look but very dim compared to cool daylight.

It does not seem hard to change but I don't really want to go about it without some instructions.

turn on the overhead map lights if you are just using it to find dropped objects.

what year is your car? Mine is 2015 (as per this forum) and it’s a row of very bright white leds. By far the brightest in any car I’ve owned.

Same here. There is something wrong with your electrical system. I suppose these days we have to consider that a computer is dimming your overhead light. The solution? Swap out the computer.

A gaggle of MB's
Singapore guy has the same interior lighting as the other forum members.... except is Singapore (as most of Asia) they are obsessed with whote/white LED... mate, you have LED "bulbs" in there... a good shop "might" be able to sort you out with white/white/whiter replacements...
