2016 C300 4MATIC AWD

This is my first thread on this forum. My wife bought a used 2016 c300 4matic AWD three weeks ago with 29,500 miles on it. We both like the car. We live in CT. We bought the car at a Chevrolet Dealership. The service sticker on the car says "grade 5W30". The salesman says it is Mobil 1 synthetic.
In reading other threads it looks like the correct oil is Mobil 1 0W-40 synthetic. Is it OK to leave the 5W-30 in there or should I change it to 0W-40?

Mobile 1 5W-30 is approved for use but I personally would switch to 0W-40 on your next oil change.
Check http://bevo.mercedes-benz.com if you want to confirm but I looked under 229.5 but I'm sure it's in 229.3, 229.51 and 229.52 as well.
