whining noise from rear

Hi, Im new to here so sorry if this has been covered. I have a C-class C220 2014 reg and it has developed a whining/whirring noise from the rear at around 35 mph. It only lasts for a short time and will go as soon as i press to accelerate. Any ideas?

Please provide more detail. This is just when slowing and not accelerating? In any gear? At specific speeds?

It is approx at speeds between 33-38mph at mild acceleration or trying to maintain that speed. If I accelerate the noise stops straight away. If I release the accelerator the noise seems to stop once it slows below 33mph. It happens wether it is in D3, D4 or D5. The noise only lasts a short period of time up to around 5 seconds and is the same pitch each time.
