Request for updated door seal picture (wind noise)
About a year and half ago acoustic glass was installed which helped mask the wind noise problem in my C400. It did not completely fix the problem but made the highway rides 'bearable' so to speak.
At first it was difficult to get MB dealerships in the Chicago area to install acoustic glass. Finally, the dealership where I purchased the car (brand new) approved the warranty claim to swap the windows for acoustic ones.
Recently, at 33,000 miles, the wind noise has returned and now is present driving 20+ mph. Moreover, on the highway the noise is so loud that it is heard by anyone sitting in the car (front and rear passengers). It is worse than it ever was.
I will take the car in for service this weekend and will ask them to replace the seals.
I rememer reading once that there is a physical difference between the old seals/felt and the new revised one.
Can someone show a picture of the new door seals? Thank you.

Hi.
just out of curiosity, how are your tires? Can you take a pic of the treads and post it on here? Im only asking this because it could be the tires, especially if you havent changed it for those past 33k miles, which should be worn more than half way down.
