Unhappy W205 Trunk Not Opening

Hey there! I've recently purchased a pre owned W205 (C220). Yesterday one of my mate opened the trunk and removed his stuff and closed it. but now the trunk is not opening at all, neither from the switch inside the vehicle nor from the key button. All other doors are opening and the car is working fine, its just the matter with the trunk. Do we have any other options like going inside from the rear seat as i cannot find the rear seat folding switch unlike other Mercedes vehicles. Should make a visit to the workshop?

I’m having a similar issue with mine. I can open it up with the actual key or folding the middle seat down and reaching the emergency release button. Just bought it, and it was definitely working when I test drove it. Bringing it in tomorrow under warranty.

Check the trunk switch in the glove box. It allows you to lock the trunk, then lock the glovebox to prevent valet access etc. A sliding switch located inside the glove box under the dash on passenger side

Unbelievable...mine randomly stopped working...after reading this thread I opened up the glove box, and sure enough a box I had in the glovebox bumped the switch...I was about to take it to the dealer

Thanks!
