I just finished a 13 vacation in Florida where we drove our C300 down and took the Auto Train home. The trip south from Maryland was the fastest I have ever done. I have driven 95 over 30 times since we lived there for some time. I set the trip computer when we left at 0410 in the morning and took this photo when we arrived in Melbourne at 6:50PM. The moving average is what I was impressed over. We averaged 71 MPH over 936 miles. Fuel economy was 31,7 MPG. I had to stop once for fuel. We put another 800 miles on the car over the cores of 10 days there.
Overall it was a good ride. One thing I really like about this car is the way I can stretch my legs all the way out without hitting the firewall. Not once single other than getting a little dirty.
