Anyone replaced Halogen interior bulbs with LED?
Hi there, new to the forum. First Mercedes, I bought a 2016 C450 last week. I've been searching endlessly to see if anyone has changed the halogen bulbs in the car to LEDs? (trunk, footwell & doors)

all of your interior halogen bulbs are 194 wedge LEDs. Although canbus enabled is not required, having some resistance levels will help with current bleeds as it takes very little to power LEDs up.
i pulled one of the rear seat ones and it looks like the ambient lighting and footwell lighting are in the same housing so wasn’t sure I could replace it, have you replaced all them?
Also any idea how to pop the housing for the bulb on the trunk lid?

Very carefully. You can pry them off from the outside, starting at the edge. They are very easy to separate the clear and red from the housing, which means you need to get new light.

not all the footwell is halogen, i believe C-class equipped for ambient lighting automatically come with led footwell lights.
The left (000-906-31-05-9051 Black) is used for footwell lighting on the W205. The official mercedes description says for W205 sedans, with ambient lighting package. You can fit these lights in the trunk and glovebox as well.
