Thanks for your reply alexasa. I have a question though which might be a stupid question since I'm new to all of this wheel talk, but I was wondering if instead of buying 12mm spacers could I just get 245 tires? They would be 10mm wider than 235 (which is what drew has) so in theory it should look pretty much the same, right?

The car looks great man!
Just out of curiosity, did you feel any significant difference with installing the FTP charge pipe? I am considering going that route.

I just put it on this morning and what I will say is, it's hard to tell. I put this on because I plan to upgrade the turbo as well and wanted to make sure I didn't have any issues running a bit higher boost and needed a port for the methanol. No real sound change but in my mind the car is slightly (at best) more responsive under throttle.
As for the turbo upgrade, I am also thinking about going that route. Are you waiting for turbokits to come out with their own kit, or do you have another kit in mind? It seems like their kit will flow 30% more than the stock option; however, the vehicle they tested the kit out on did not have the weistec down pipe or tune (I could be wrong). Realistically speaking we can expect higher yields as our vehicles exhaust gasses flow much better.

I agree, the butt dyno is not always clear. There are many factors that we need to take in to consider an improvement vs the stock part. I am willing to bet that the water/meth kit will make all of the difference. for $200 it's well worth the charge pipe. I'm considering in getting one.

I have been talking with turbokits.com. This isn't going to be a 400HP car, I would have bought the c400 if that was the plan. Their kits seem to be reasonably safe and decent power for a good price. I am hoping this kit comes out close to the price point of the CLA kit they did. If so, I will quite literally ****** one up the day they go on sale. At least one of their test cars has been fitted with a Weistec downpipe, but not at the time of their last results post. I would be totally happy with a 300 WHP car running low 5 to high 4sec 0-60. The methanol will come at the end of this project if necessary but I already have the kit. If it doesn't make its way onto this car it will on our blown 2017 Corvette (currently pushing 734whp). As of right now, I believe I have every "bolt-on" currently available for the c300 w205 Platform. Just waiting on the Turbo

Gotcha, the daily needs to be reliable. I've got to admire your ambition to push this car to its limits though. I am the same way. What exact AEM kit did you go with? Im planning on sourcing a water reservoir from a junk yard to use with the meth kit, but I also want to find a kit that is somewhat of a straight shoot install. Are you planning on dynoing the car soon?

Wow that looks really good drew, glad how it came out! What are your thoughts of leaving the distronic untinted but the circle around the star is still black? I’ve seen them on all black cars they look clean

I'm not sold on the distronic emblem being tinted, but I figure I would give it a few days and see how it sits with me. My initial thought was to pull it off.
