key back cover falling off

Out of nowhere the back cover of my key is falling off in my pocket; is it because I'm using a CR2032 battery? Wasn't an issue for months....

I've no idea. What sort of battery are you supposed to use in it? Is it the battery flatter that what you currently have in it? Can you get the dealer to give you some batteries?

you should have the Cr2025 in your key. The CR2032 is thicker and doesn't allow the backing of the key to tightly click back into place. Or keep the CR2032 in your key and put some tape around it to hold it on, HAHA!

There you have it. You're using the wrong battery. I must admit I was too lazy to get my key out, wear my glasses and check. Still, you can pop down to your dealer are see if they'll give the battery for free...
