Mercedes C250 Sedan
2013 c250 CEL code P0002
I purchased this car at mercedes of pembroke pines in florida on friday 2/9/2018. I put about 30 miles on the car and the check engine light is on. I took it to auto zone and had them see what the code was. They said it was P0002 Fuel volume regulator control circuit range. has anyone seen this before? What is the fix?
thank you in advance!

This code relates to the the electrical system as part of the fuel volume regulator system. Automotive fuel systems consist of many components, the fuel tank, fuel pump, filter, lines, injectors, etc. One component in high pressure fuel systems is a high pressure fuel pump. It's job is to increase the fuel pressure for the very high pressure needed at the fuel rail for the injectors. These high pressure fuel pumps have a low pressure side and high pressure side, and a fuel volume regulator which controls the pressure. For this P0002 code, it refers to an electrical reading that is outside normal parameters.

Why wouldn’t you just bring the car back to the dealer for service? There has to be a warranty, even if only 30 days.

To be helpful - please repost in the W204 forum - which is the correct forum for your 20313 C250.
Depending on mileage - and how hard you're driving the car - that particular code can mean a-or multiple issues in the C250 fuel delivery system - the guys in the W204 forum can walk you thru it..
