Tire rotation

Gentlemen,
Since the front and rear tires are different size, how do we rotate the tires? My C300 MY 2017 has 18 inch wheels and the tires are Continental.I really appreciate your input.

i swap mine from side to side. Probably doesn’t do much but it doesn’t hurt any.

The tyre factories find it hard to get the right amount of tyres in the same size manufactured. Added to that, they also have problems shipping to the car factories. Plus sometimes they go missing/bad etc. The when fitting the tyres to the cars, they might get different sizes and that's what they have to use because going back to get the same size tyre would hold up production. So yes it is normal these days. But the real answer is because people want their cars that way.

Tire manufacturer capacity has absolutely 0 to do with why some cars come with staggered wheel set up. Its performance and "trend" driven. Much like why most cars come with 19/20" tires these days...the "cool" factor.

I now see why they say British humour doesn't travel well... BREXIT must be exacerbating things...
