Illuminated star stolen?
Just noticed the chrome piece is missing on the illuminated star. Just called benz and they said I need to replace the whole thing for about $300. Is there anyway I can just get the front part? The light still works.

You can order a "China knockoff" from eBay and replace the whole dang thing if you need to.. you "might" be able to swap out chrome ring - but wouldn't necessarily count on that

just ordered one off ebay for $50. Seller is from Cali. Hopefully its just as easy as popping it on.

Is there any update on this? How did it turn out? How did it install on top of the existing unit? Just happened to me so trying to figure out my options, also if you could provide the link to the ebay link that would be great.
