Hi, haven't posted here in a very long time.

My uncle just got his S205 C class wagon at the end of last year and was looking after a dash cam.

We came across this unit at first, just to find out that the mirror/ dome light plastic cover in his car is different (Installing the above dashcam would leave a large gaping hole in the front, which isn't exactly ideal.).

We then had a look at this one. Although it's for a 2015 C/CLC-class, it looks like it will fit when we compared the shape of mirror cover he has. Asking the seller, we were told that it wouldn't fit despite it looking very similar.

Below are photos from his car. Notice the slight bulge towards the front (Circled in red.) in the first photo. Could someone please clarify if there something directly inside that part of the cover where the second DVR camera would interfere with? (Too scared to open it apart myself, fearing that I might break a tab or clip.)

Nice and neat but limits your camera options. Maybe if I was an undercover agent.

I know. We were looking at the others before, including a good (But very expensive.) Korean one which I use in my own car (Gets power via OBD port & has diagnostic features which would come in handy.).

My uncle was interested in the ones shown in OP (Especially the second one. First one's out as it looks like it was meant for a different variant/ model.), being that they look like they belong to the car rather than an afterthought (Just his personal preference.) and also due to the rear facing camera (Records front & rear of vehicle.) & parking mode. Only thing is that we were concerned with fitment (Unsure if the bump circled has something that would hinder installation of the camera.).
