Rivets

I'm replacing a door handle LED, I've removed the door card and all the screws on the inner panel but I've still got to drill out 3 or 4 pop rivets about 1cm in diameter to get to the handle, does anyone know the correct size of these rivets so that I can buy some more?

Are you sure they are rivets that need to be removed? From the last 205 exterior door handle led I did, the door module can be either riveted or screwed onto the door frame. If the door module was screwed to the door frame, I don't think there are any rivets that need to be removed. Ill check wis just to be sure.

UPDATE

So according to WIS, if your talking about replacing the exterior door handle led, there aren't any rivets that need to be removed from the door panel for a 205.049 if the door module is bolted to the door frame. Just take the door panel off, then take the window out, then remove the exterior door handle and lock tumbler, then the door module comes out with a bit of wiggling. the door module doesn't need to come all the way out, but just enough that you should be able to swap out the exterior door handle led. And you might have to disconnect the wiring bulkhead connector that goes from the door frame to the body of the car. Not all of them have to, but some of them are like that.

Mine's an early 2014 205 and the door module, by which I mean the entire black plastic inner door panel revealed by removing the door card is retained mostly by screws but there are still a couple of rivets securing it. I have seen a video of an A Class of a similar age and the set up looks very similar to mine where rivets were drilled. Not quite sure you mean by "205.049".
