2018 GLE400 distronic plus
Distronic plus keeps shutting down saying radar senor dirty see manual, then few minutes later can reactivate cruise, this vehicle is 4 months old and this is very annoying, nothing safety about that. Dealership now tells me its road conditions that cause that, radar looses ability of not knowing were the vehicle is. If this isa problem why are Dealers selling this vehicle and why is it being allowed to sell in Canada. Senors are clean.

You're in the W205 C class forum not GLE, but I'll answer anyways.
I have Distronic Plus on my C class and the only times it has given me that problem is when it's raining/snowing heavily, or if I don't wash the car for a month plus. If it happens to you during normal weather conditions and the car is washed check to make sure there's nothing on the star on the front of your car, the sensor for Distronic plus cruise control is stored there. If there's excessive grime or a vinyl decal or something that can throw it off.
