Delay between Gears 2-3

I noticed that when I push the gas pedal down after slowing down, there seems to be a very abrupt jerk when shifting between gears 2-3. Is this because I am catching the automatic transmission while it is downshifting? Does anyone else have this issue?

This is for a brand new 2018 C300 4matic

I have similar shifts in mine. It seems to depend on the agility mode and how you are working the pedal.

It can be a bit jerky sometimes but still learning the car also.

This has been a longstanding complaint of mine with the 7G transmission -- driving in Sport+ 99% of the time seems to be the only way I can minimize the effect -- but I had assumed the 2018's 9G would have fixed it. Guess not?

I’ve taken mine to the dealer but been told twice it’s designed this way. Like, really!!! I’m still ticked.

Same issue here on 7G, C180. Terrible jerk on when braking and transmission down shifts from 3-2 on all modes, except in manual.
Tried transmission "reset" to no avail.
Brought it in to the dealership and they reprogrammed the transmission. Took them 2 days.
Issue is less pronounced now.

Did it fix the problem? Permanently? If so, is your transmission 7g or 9g?
