c400 rim size question

Hi everyone,

i have been a long time reader but this will be my first post. I have a 2015 c400 with the 19inch rims. I recently cracked one of them and rather than replace than one I am looking at buying a new set of 4 (about the same price.) The stock setup is 7.5inch front and 8.5inch rear for the rim sizes.

The rims I am looking at are 8.5 front and 9.5 rear. Has anyone tried this on their car? or know if it will fit? I am a little worried about rubbing. I currently have 225/40r19 and 255/35r19 tires which I think will be OK for the rear but I think I will need larger once up front for the 8.5inch rim.

any help or input would be appreciated thanks!!

It will depend on the offset. With 9.5 rear you will need 50+ offset in order for it to not stick past the fenders. I would stay away from replica wheels IMO.
