MB out of C300 oil filters! - any acceptable substitutes?

MB out of C300 oil filters! - any acceptable substitutes?
I can't believe this but the local and online dealers tell me the filters for my car are on back order and there is no expected ship date. I change my oil every 3 months and I am due. I also have to drive 1700 miles in the next 10 days which will put me 1000 miles over the oil change interval. I see WIX has one that I can get locally (WL7515.) I'm thinking of getting it and then replacing just the filter once they are available.Has anyone used any subs?

Don't think I have ever used an actual MB oil filter. Plenty of others available. Wix, Mann, Mahle, Purolator, etc. Do a quick online search. Most of mine are bought on Amazon.

The only thing available locally is the Wix filter. I bought one, it has a paper element while the big thing for the MB filters is that they are fleece. I'm just concerned about possibly voiding my warranty. The nice thing about the filter being topside is that I can swap out filters later without losing any oil other than whats soaked into the filter material.
