W205 is broken!!
was driving back home on the freeway and halfway the car started shaking a lot when accelerating and lost a lot of power. Was driving beautifully before don’t know what’s up. Engine light is now on and I’m pulled over waiting for a tow. Thanks Mercedes! *eye roll*

Sorry to hear. Hope it’s nothing major or anything to do with wrist pin repair. GL.

yes all stock, and multiple times. Tried driving it off the freeway on side streets but the power loss was bad and it even died in the middle of an intersection and a bunch of lights came on. Decided It was better to just tow and not potentially damage anything more. I did notice earlier yesterday it seemed to shake a little just idling at startup but it was driving fine after that. It was like all of sudden power was lost on the freeway and even flooring the car didn’t do much but make it shake a lot and accelerate just a little. At first i thought it was rough pavement but It stopped shaking if I let off the gas. It drove downhill just fine lol thought I was going to be stuck in a tunnel too so that was scary. I was able to drive it slowly but there’s too many hills where I live and pushing it wasn’t working. My SL is having some comestic work done and won’t be ready for a week so I’m completely without a car right now. Service dept opens tomorrow but who knows if they even have a loaner for me.

Sorry to hear. On the plus side, the car is still under warranty. Are you taking it back to Walnut Creek? I had the same exact wrist pin repair, from the same exact tech without any issues so far. hope all goes well and let us know what you find out.

In my life I have owned a w202, a w209, and now a W205. I just got the 205, but I will say that both my other benzes had sparkplug issues more than once. The w202 in particular, which never gave my any other problem for 200k miles, needed the entire harness and cap replaced twice. Once it threw a blown plug through the cover.
Mind you, I have owned 3 BMW's, 1 Audi, 1 Toyota and 1 Cadillac in my time and ONLY the mercedes gave me plug issues.
Hmmmm!
